I have a so-so relationship with zombie movies. I like Shaun of the Dead, but am confounded when people like things like the Dawn of the Dead remake and the ubiquitous Night of the Living Dead. I mean how hard is it to write one of these things? Some catastrophe, usually manmade, causes everyone to crave brains or otherwise want to commit mindless violence upon every living creature that comes their way. What are hipster movie reviews? They are more off the cuff comments, annoyances, complaints, likes, dislikes about a particular film than your typical newspaper or TV thumbs up, thumbs down kind of thing. There is very little structure and often quite a bit of sarcasm. Who needs an idiot like Jeffrey Lyons telling you what to watch? Mr. Hipster is judgemental and grouchy about films, and tries to give it to you straight (in a really obtuse kind of way). So, enjoy and please ignore the many partial sentences, grammatical anomalies and splintered logic.
