Make a Sound
The dudes from this band are nice guys,
so I feel a little bad talking shit about their album. The
first track sounds like a Bad
Religion retread from the early nineties, and has enough
echo on it to choke one of those Ricola
trumpeters. The rest of the album is just so generic it hurts.
I could play you track eight and then track four and then
track three, and then mix them up and play them again, and
you wouldn't have any idea which song was which. The music
isn't bad, per se, just remarkably unremarkable. The whole
album is just drenched in a layer of something that hides
the music behind a wall of bad production. The word "off"
in their name is very apropos. |
