Kin to the Cilantro about a dozen blocks to the north, we actually decided to sit down and eat at this location. And, to our surprise, it was pretty damn good! Though accommodations are tight, the space–with its Mexican/adobe decor–affords its customers pleasant, warm surroundings that compliment anything laden with cumin or laced with tequila. We got the nice, cozy corner booth and sat down to a plethora of fajitas, burritos and tacos. Granted, anything sizzling that is proceeded by chips, salsa and a couple Bohemias makes for a pretty good evening. It’s also nice in this new world of gourmet Mexican that there still exists a joint where you can escape for under $25 a person. [MF]
