Don’t let them fool you — there is nothing country, nor anything clubbish about the Park Ave. Country Club. Don’t bother calling for reservations either, because nobody really goes here unless there’s a Syracuse game on. And even then, nobody eats the incredibly overpriced food that tastes more like The Club® than a country club. One wonders how places like this stay open — or why they exist in the first place. Stay late and watch the hookers wander down from 1st Ave. looking for drunken stragglers. [MF]
