I wish I could say I actually ate something at this joint. The menu looked fun and delicious. That’s pure speculation, of course, but judging by the cool surroundings, that kind of spoke to old Cuba and old world Harlem and some swank shit, but without being overly fancy. It was just comfortable and classy, but cozy. I really just dropped in for a cold drink, and had one in the form of a Negra Modelo draught, but seriously thought about taking folks back here later to have some tapas or something latin-based. The bartender was extremely friendly and a really decent salesperson for not only their menu of specialty drinks, but also the restaurant as a whole. The day was a hot one, but this place was just plain cool. [MF]
