Jekyll and Hyde
Jekyll and Hyde
[CLOSED]

Ah, the dreaded theme restaurant. Nothing whets the appetite like being surrounded by Fonzi’s jacket, Gene Simmons’ codpiece or B.B. King’s gold nugget ring complete with chicken grease–or in the case of Jekyll & Hyde’s, lots of dead things. The actual theme here is somewhat lost on us. As far as we can tell, the place kind of has a Halloween/haunted house slant to it. What that has to do with the story of Jekyll and Hyde, your guess is as good as ours. So, is the food any good? Well, what do you think? It’s a theme restaurant. The burgers taste about as good as you’d imagine that tattered cloak the skeleton outside is wearing would taste. The service? Don’t you think people who work at this sort of place resent all the clueless tourists who come in and bug the crap out of them all day? Unfortunately they lump the locals in with all the other hydrocephalic, green-sock-wearing Europeans that drag their poor kids to this joint hoping for a nice slice of Americana. [MF]
