Nick must be a big guy with all the grease that’s flying around this place. One part Greek diner and one part burger joint, the common ingredient in everything on the menu is fat. And, as we know, things with fat in them are tasty. Things that are bad for you and give you zits and a gut are the reason these kinds of places exist. Big Nick’s pizza is the type that is unimpressive on first viewing, but really takes on some personality after three or four (or five or six) slices. These are the kind of neighborhood eateries that just call out to the drunk in all of us, because nothing is better with beer than a plate full of the slippery stuff. [MF]
