Uh, I’ve come to understand that this place closed like a week after it opened. Shame, as it was pretty well decorated and reasonably grown up in its atmosphere. Of course, we were only two of about eight people in the place on a Friday night. Hopefully we looked a little less confused than the other patrons who warily looked around at the copper and wood bar that looked almost too classy for the neighborhood. For all the effort that went into the joint, there certainly seemed to be an air of doom about it. Seems we weren’t far off. Their website doesn’t seem to mention the closing, but their number is disconnected. I’m sure some shameful Irish pub has already opened in its place. Viva Bush’s economy! [MF]
